How much does it cost to make one round of Ohenro?

The total cost depends very much on the way you make around.
In case of Ohenro on foot.
For stamps: 26,400yen (300/temple×88temples), Maps, shoes etc: about 40,000yen
In case of nojuku(sleeping in the open): 49,500yen(1,500(meal)/d×33d) or 67,500yen(1,500(meal)/d×45d)
Minshuku (without meals): 198,000yen((4,000+2,000(meal))×33d) or 270,000yen (6,000×45d)
Minshuku (with two meals):240,900yen((6,500+800(lunch))×33d) or 328,500yen(7,300×45d)
Sources of extra expense in case of nojuku(sleeping in the open): tent, sleeping bag, gas, alcohol, cleaning, hot spring etc
Sudomari(staying without meal) would costs you 264,400 ～336,400yen.
With two meals, 307,300～394,900yen.
Other expenses: pain killer, medical expense, a new pair of socks, new underwear, trip to and from Shikoku etc.

Is travelers check accepted?

You may use it at large hotels. But the places you can use it to get Japanese yen are very few.
Credit cards are more useful. And cash is the most useful and reliable while making Ohenro.

Where can I use the credit card?
|
You can use it at convenient stores and big super markets such as Fuji(フジ) and Marunaka(マルナカ). You should check beforehand since some of the ryokan(a Japanese style hotel) and minsyuku(a guest house) do not accept it.

|
You will not find banks so often. At least once or twice a day, you would find a post office or a convenience store where you can use ATM.

You can withdraw money at [ Japan Post Bank ] or [ Seven Bank ATM ]

Major IC cards (electronic money) are all usable for JR Shikoku, some of the bus route and convenience stores.
